Our work spans custom new builds, renovation and restoration, and traditional timber framing across Southern Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands.
Guided by clarity, craftsmanship and care, we design with intention and build with integrity.
Homes from foundation to finish, tailored to your lifestyle and your land. This is where form and function meet.
Big wood, small details. Traditional methods held in reverence, adapted for the modern home.
Pre-war to coast modern. Time-tested solutions, from full structural updates to lifting and levelling.
Coordinating budgets, vision and perspectives through a trusted trades network. Integrity is the foundation of our work.
It's the little things. Assemblies that balance beauty, structure and climate before construction begins.
Cabins, studios and carriage houses, crafted with the same detail as a primary residence.
I started my carpentry apprenticeship in 1980, moved to Vancouver Island in 1989, and have primarily operated from client referrals for the entirety of my career.
Courses in log building, timber framing, passive house design, building science and joinery have taken me across North America. Even today, I still enjoy learning.
