Octagonal open pavilion. Hand cut timber frame, pegged braces, eight hip rafters resolving into a custom black steel compression ring at the apex. Radial floor framing off a central hub. Cedar shingle roof, tongue and groove cedar deck and railings, concrete piers on standoff bases. The cupola was framed on the ground and craned into place.
